GCSU Theatre will hold auditions for its Spring production of the Tennessee Williams classic "A Streetcar Named Desire" with monologue auditions at 7 p.m., Jan. 9-10 and call backs at 7 p.m. Jan. 11. The auditions will be held in Max Noah Recital Hall. For monologues auditions, actors are asked to prepare a one minute monologue from a modern American drama and dress appropriately for a professional theatrical audition. Those who are called back for a cold reading will be expected to have read the script. There are 15 roles available -- 8 women and seven men. The auditions are open to all GCSU students. The theatrical production of "A Streetcar Named Desire" will run Feb. 21-25 at Russell Auditorium.
