Georgia College is the first in the state to offer a master’s degree with a major in art therapy. The Master of Arts in Art Therapy will engage graduate students with intensive learning experiences to deliver art therapy services effectively to individuals with special needs in various therapeutic settings.

The Georgia College & State University Ceramics Department will hold its pottery sale just in time for holiday shopping. An array of distinctive, handmade pieces of art will be available for purchase from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday Dec. 1 in the Blackbridge Hall Art Gallery at Georgia College. The sale features the work of beginning to advanced ceramics students at Georgia College. A sampling of items includes: bowls, cups, plates, vases, platters and pitchers. Blackbridge Hall Art Gallery is located on South Clarke Street across from the Old Governor's Mansion in Milledgeville.
