Enjoy an evening of fun with friends and loved ones the weekend before Valentine’s Day.

Georgia College Max Noah Singers will serenade lovers of all ages during sixth annual Valentine’s Day Rendezvous in the Student Activities Center Magnolia Ballroom across from front campus.

The Saturday, Feb. 11 event during Homecoming 2012 will feature pieces from the ensemble as well as solos and small group numbers, ranging from Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon” to a medley of Beatles songs to Adele.

“Magnolia Ballroom is a perfect space, acoustically, and we also want to encourage people to get up and cut a rug if they want,” said Dr. Jennifer Flory, director of choral activities.

The 7:30 p.m. performance includes a dance area and sweet and savory treats in a banquet setting. The event serves as a fundraiser for the choir. It is free, and donations are requested to offset MNS 2012 Spring Tour costs.
