Georgia College was ranked on “Kiplinger's Personal Finance” magazine’s list of top public college values for 2014.

The Washington, D.C.-based publisher of business and personal finance advice included Georgia College on its list of the top 100 public colleges based on the university’s commitment to delivering a good value to students.

The list is compiled from data that includes academic quality and affordability for students.

Georgia College was one of only four schools in the state included on the top 100 list.

The rankings are based on quality measures such as the admission rate, the test scores of incoming freshmen and four- and six-year graduation rates. It also includes cost data like tuition, fees, room and board and financial aid for in-state and out-of-state students.
