Dr. Steven Elliott-Gower, Honors Program director and associate professor of political science at Georgia College, has published the second edition of “Educating Globally Competent Citizens: A Toolkit.”

Dr. Cliff Towner, director of band activities at Georgia College, has been named music director of the Atlanta Wind Symphony.

Shaina McGill, senior academic adviser at Georgia College, became recipient of the 2012 Customer Service Excellence Award, presented by University System of Georgia Chancellor Hank M. Huckaby.

Georgia College’s Dr. Paul Jones and his wife, Sylvia M. Jones, became the 2012 “Alumni of the Year” by their alma mater, Utah State University, in Logan, Utah.

Georgia College’s Dr. J.W. Good has earned the 2013 Georgia Excellence in Education Award from the world’s largest education community, AdvancED.
