Georgia College honored two of its finest for acts of heroism during a recent winter storm.

Dr. Dwight Call has been selected to participate in the Fulbright Nehru International Education Administrators Seminar this spring in India.

The Tifts of Georgia is a history of an influential Georgia family and sheds new light on paternalism, cultural assimilation and race relations.

Dr. Jane Hinson has been named dean of the John H. Lounsbury College of Education at Georgia College. 

Georgia College President Dorothy Leland has been named among Georgia Trend’s “100 Most Influential Georgians” for the second consecutive year. 

Georgia College today released a limited edition book of Flannery O’Connor’s college cartoons that shows the author’s “silly, even outrageous” humor as a student in the early 1940s at Georgia State College for Women, as the university was then known.

Georgia College once again has been cited as one of the nation's "100 Best Values in Public Colleges" by Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine.
